This post comes from Split as I await my bus to Trieste and then a train to Venice for my flight home. Since my last post we have been sailing out in the islands close to Split hence no news for some time. Sorry its been so long... last Sunday we headed for Hvar, an island offshore from Split and a< place renowned for its beauty, its castle, its style and glitz. It certainly lived up to the reputation. Before we left we dropped of Dave Stewart so he could catch his flight home via London and we shopped at the Split market for supplies. Excerllent fresh fruit and veges at good prices. Prior to that

A very quick post to let you know new pix are posted at snapfish. We are back near Split after our best days sail ever, broad reach back from Hvar to the mainland. We got as far south as Korchula, truly the mosat beautiful islland we have visited but a tourist mecca nevertheless. We are waiting here to find out if Larry can get a marina to store the boat for six months or so. Will post again soon.

It's still very hot - 42 degrees again today but the beauty of Split serves to negate any concerns about perspiration complex.
